I want to buy a car (2002ish) from a used car lot of Craigslist for about 7k. The problem is only the big dealerships offer the easy financing, and Craigslist and the smaller lots yield mostly to cash customers. How could I finance a car from one of these? What’s a “lending institution” or something? It seems impossible!! A specific service/website would be appreciated. Thank you! :)

I want to buy a used car. Is it better to try to secure financing from a bank before going to any dealerships? Or, are the dealerships more willing to haggle if I finance thru them?

I was recently offered the position of finance and insurance manager at a car dealer where I applied for a sales position. They said because of my background in I was over qualified. I am not exactly sure what an F+I manager does. Can anyone fill me in before I go in and talk specifics with them?

I am interested in purchasing a 2009 Subaru Impreza WRX during the first week of June. Currently the finance incentives (low APR on their web-page) expires on June 1st. In order to accurately plan, I was wondering if it is safe to assume it will be the same for the month of June. If not, does anyone know the best place online to search for the best current APR being offered for auto loans? Thanks!
